Partnerships

Local County Journal considers collaborations that genuinely suit its interest in county landscapes and rural life. Proposals can include clearly identified partner articles, relevant resource listings or other standing partner placements, subject to editorial review.

Relevant partnerships

We consider proposals connected to countryside interpretation, rural culture, landscape learning, walking and place-based publishing. A useful proposal explains the subject, intended audience, proposed format and any commercial relationship. Relevance matters more than the size of a claim.

Clear labels

Partner and sponsored material is labelled plainly wherever it appears. Labels remain visible when content is shared or revisited, and partner placements are not presented as independent editorial recommendations. Payment does not determine editorial conclusions.

Editorial boundaries

We may decline work that makes unsupported claims, relies on misleading presentation or falls outside the publication's subject. We retain control of wording, placement and labelling, and do not promise coverage in exchange for a partnership. Send proposals through the Contact page.
